Multipayor
When fees and expenses for a particular matter are to be split between
multiple clients, eBillingHub lets you specify what percentage of those
fees and expenses each client (payor) will be charged. Once this is set
up, an invoice will be generated for each payor displaying the full invoice
with an IF line to bring the invoice total down to the total, for which
the client is responsible.
To set up Multipayor:
- Click the Edit
Multipayor Matter link.
- Type the matter number in the box and click
Add Matter. The matter is
added to the list.
- Click the Payors
link in the Edit column for
the new matter. The Edit Payors and
Splits window displays.
- Click on the Add
Recipients. The Recipient
window displays.
- Select the recipients and click Add.
The Recipient window is closed
and the Edit Payors and Splits displays.
- In the %
Fees and % Exp columns,
type the fees and/or expenses percentages for each recipient. Percentages
should be between 0 and 1. For example, for 30% type .30.
- Optional: Click
Edit Fields to set up extended fields for the recipient if
the client requires extended fields. Add the information for the extended
fields and click Save.

is the UDF value; example: CountryCode US.
- Click Save.
