Track Invoices Overview
Once invoices have been submitted using the Billing Wizard or Quick
Invoice, eBillingHub provides several tools to track their progress. Even
if automatic invoice submission isn't available for a particular vendor
and you manually submit them via email or by logging into a vendor or
client site, you can still use eBillingHub to track the invoices and their
associated emails.
eBillingHub will not track the invoices if they are submitted manually
to the vendor website. You will need to manually update the status accordingly
in the Tracking/Active Invoices page.
The tracking tools are as follows:
- Active Invoices - The primary source of
information for active invoices once they've been submitted through
eBillingHub. (An active invoice is any submitted invoice that has
not been paid in full.) Active Invoices allows you to perform several
actions on an invoice, including saving it to a file and changing
the invoice status.
- Profile Emails - Email responses from
vendors or clients for submitted invoices are automatically read by
eBillingHub, which uses the email text to update the status of the
invoices. Emails that eBillingHub can relate to a specific invoice
are called Profiled Emails. Use this option to search for and view
these emails and forward them to specific users. This option also
allows you to review a list of unprofiled emails (those not related
to an invoice) and relate them to one or more invoices.
- Invoice History - Displays the date and
time of each status change for an invoice as it was processed through
eBillingHub. Also displays the status of paid invoices that are no
longer viewable in Active Invoices.
