Attach Files to an Invoice

Files can be attached to an invoice email when the client associated with the invoice has been mapped to the eBillingHub Free Form email client or the vendor has been set up in eBillingHub with the ability to accept attachments.

If the client mapping includes the No LEDES file format option, eBillingHub creates an HTML file containing the words, No Ledes File. When the invoice is submitted in the Billing Wizard or Quick Invoice, this file is not included in the email sent to the recipient; however, it is viewable in Active Invoices.

To attach a file to an invoice email at the invoice level:

  1. In the Billing Wizard and Quick Invoice Step 2 - Review Validation Report, click . The Attachments window displays.
  2. Click one of the following:

Note: To remove all files that have not yet been uploaded, click Clean. To remove an individual file that has not yet been uploaded, click .

To attach a file to an invoice email at the line item level:

  1. From the Validation screen, click .
  2. To the right of the line item entry that you need to attach, click .
