Avoid Manually Editing eBilling Files

eBillingHub strongly recommends avoiding manually editing electronic billing files for the following reasons.

• It's time consuming.
• It's error prone.
• It's more difficult to track exactly what was submitted. If the file was manually modified, it's not available in the Hub. Files that were submitted through the Hub can be viewed in Active Invoices. For more information, see Save Your Electronic Billing File.

• You're open to a discrepancy between what is in your time and billing system for the invoice and what was actually submitted.

If you think you need to manually edit an electronic billing file, please contact eBillingHub Support. eBillingHub Support will work with you to create the format you need for the client without manual edits.
