Manually Upload ebills

eBillingHub supports automatic submission for most of the electronic billing vendors. Check the list of Supported Clients on our website, since it is frequently updated with new clients, and eBillingHub is always working to add new connections for automated submission. However, there are some emerging ebilling vendors that eBillingHub is not currently connected to for automatic submission.

How to upload ebills when there is no automatic submission?

  1. Run your invoices through the Billing Wizard using the same process that you use for all other invoices. You can submit them at the same time as invoices going to other clients. For more information, see Configure the Billing Wizard.
  2. After you submit the invoices and click Live Update to go to Active Invoices, the invoices that need to be manually submitted will automatically be in Hold Status.
  3. Select the invoices that are on Hold. You can select them individually by checking the box in the first column, or you can change the Status to Show to show only invoices on Hold, and then check the box at the bottom of the invoice list to select all invoices.
  4. Select Save Invoice from the drop-down list at the bottom of the list labeled Action and click Go. For more information, see Save the Electronic Billing File.
  5. The invoices will be saved in the Root Folder with a file name starting with your firm's invoice number. Once the invoices are in the Root Folder, you can move them to any other directory. If you stay on this screen, you don't need to select these invoices again for step 7.
  6. Submit the invoices to the client per the client's instructions. You may need to log on to the client's ebilling vendor site, or you may need to email the invoice with additional attachments.
  7. Come back to Active Invoices in eBillingHub. Select the invoices that you just uploaded, select Update Status/Add Comments from the Action drop down. A separate window displays allowing you to choose a status based on the notification received back from the vendor. You can select to correct the date as well in the window to reflect the correct date the invoices was submitted.
