Activity Transactions

 

 

 

This report lists invoice processing activity in eBillingHub during a specified date range. The report shows the latest status change in that time period, which may not be the current status if the invoice underwent additional processing after the report's end date.

 

To illustrate this possible status discrepancy, let's say you submit an invoice in May and it's rejected by the eBilling vendor. You then make corrections, resubmit the invoice in June and see that it's accepted. When you run the Activity Transactions report for May, this invoice's Transaction Status shows "rejected" but its Current Status is "ebilled". Run this same report for June and the Transaction Status and Current Status are both "ebilled".

 

To generate the report, follow these steps:

 

1.      Select Reports/Dashboards from the Reports menu.

2.      Select Active Transactions from the Billing or Collections tab.

3.      Use the interactive calendar to select a date range for the report.

4.      Select a currency from the list box. Only invoices in the selected currency will be included in the report.

5.      Select a client from the list box to filter the data by that client, or select ALL to include all clients.

6.      Select an eBillingHub user from the list box to filter the data by that user.

7.      Select a vendor from the list box to filter the data by that vendor.

8.      Select a status from the list box to filter the data by the invoices' current status. For example, if you want to only view invoices that are currently listed as rejected by eBilling vendors or clients, select "rejected".

9.      Select a sort option from the list box for displaying the data. Options correspond to the columns in the report display.

10.   Select ascending or descending order for displaying the sort option data.

11.   Click Submit to generate the report based on your selections. The following table describes the report columns.

 

Column

Definition

Transaction Date

The date the invoice was updated to the status listed in the Transaction Status column.

Transaction Status

The last status update for the invoice made within the specified date range.

Current Status

The current status of the invoice in eBillingHub.

Invoice Number

A unique number from the firm's Time and Billing system that identifies the invoice.

Invoice Date

The date the invoice was posted in the firm's Time and Billing system.

Total Fees

The total fees (and fee adjustments) for the invoice.

Total Expenses

The total expenses (and expense adjustments) for the invoice.

Invoice Amount

The total amount of all fees, expenses, and adjustments for the invoice.

Matter Id

A unique number from the firm's Time and Billing system that identifies the matter associated with this invoice.

Matter Name

The name of the matter.

Client #

A unique number from the firm's Time and Billing system that identifies a client.

Client Name

The name of the client.

Vendor

 The vendor that received the invoice.

User Name

The eBillingHub user who submitted the invoice.
