Generating Reports

 

 

 

This Help topic explores the reports you can generate using eBillingHub's integrated reporting and dashboard system.

 

Accessing Reports and Dashboards

To access screens for generating reports and graphs, select Reports/Dashboards from the Reports menu:

 

 

Reports/Dashboards uses tabs to display the report categories. Click a tab to view a list of the available reports in each category.

 

 

Reports are categorized as Billing, Collections or Management, although some reports overlap as indicated with an asterisk (*) in the following table.

 

Report Category

Description

Billing

Billing reports are intended to be used with Active Invoices to help billing personnel identify invoices that require eBilling follow-up. Specifically, these reports help with the following tasks:

·         Identify invoices that need to be posted/finalized in the Time and Billing system (Unposted Prebills report)

·         Determine the current status of an invoice and view its status change history (Invoice History report)

·         Track down the information for a particular invoice using an eBillingHub reference number or filename (Invoice Lookup by Reference Id report)

·         View summaries of all active invoices (Active Invoices reports) *

·         View activity transactions for invoice processing over a given time period  (Activity Transactions report) *

·         Reconcile invoices in the Time and Billing system with invoices in eBillingHub  (Period Reconciliation By Invoice Date report) *

Collections

Collection reports are intended to help collections personnel identify invoices that may require additional collections follow-up, and to assess the overall effectiveness of collection efforts. Specifically, these reports help with the following tasks:

·         View up-to-the-minute accounts receivable information for invoices (Aging A/R Invoices report)

·         View a summary of the average number of days clients take to pay invoices (Average Days To Pay)

·         Reveal invoices past their expected payment date based on payment history (Collection Status)

·         View summaries of all active invoices (Active Invoices reports) *

·         View activity transactions for invoice processing over a given time period  (Activity Transactions report) *

·         Reconcile invoices in the Time and Billing system with invoices in eBillingHub  (Period Reconciliation By Invoice Date report) *

Management

Management reports are intended to assist billing managers handle eBilling volume and trends, and to assess overall eBilling effectiveness. Specifically, these reports help with the following tasks:

·         Determine which invoices are no longer being tracked in eBillingHub (Deleted Invoices report)

·         View a list of eBillingHub clients mapped to your firm's Time and Billing system clients and the date of the last activity for each (Clients Listing report)

·         View a list of vendors through which your firm is eBilling and the date of the last activity for each (Vendors Listing report)

·         Generate a list of your firm's highest volume clients based on payments or number of invoices (Top Clients Invoiced report)

·         View billing trends such as increasing eBilling activity or rejections, or peak periods (Billing Activity Trends report)

·         View a snapshot of rejected invoices as a percentage of all submitted invoices (Rejection Levels Trends report)

·         List the invoices for which eBillingHub will charge your firm (Monthly Statement report)

·         Determine if eBillingHub is caught up with the invoices ready to bill and calculate the percentage of successfully ebilled invoices (Billing Progress report)
