Editing Timekeeper Data

This help topic explains how to use the basic eBilling Editor to edit timekeeper titles data for an invoice. Timekeeper titles help classify the roles of law firm personnel and are configured by mapping your firm's titles to those supported by eBillingHub.

Timekeepers Data

Editable data in the Timekeepers workspace includes:

Title:

The timekeeper's professional title.

Initials:

The timekeeper's initials or other identifying code used at your firm. This code can be any alphanumeric character (5 character maximum). For example, JMH, 1002, XX11, ALEX1, SAM07.

Additional Timekeeper data fields (rate, last name, first name) can be edited with the advanced eBilling Editor.

To edit data in the Timekeepers workspace, follow these steps:

1.      Click (or tab to) the data field you want to edit. (Double-clicking highlights all field text for editing.)

2.      Edit the data by overwriting the existing text. As you begin to type, a pencil icon  appears at the beginning of the current row to indicate the field is being edited.

3.      Continue updating additional invoice data (invoice information, fees, expenses, matter adjustments) if desired. If you are finished making changes, click Save to display the following message:

4.      Click OK to close the message box. Note that any edits to the timekeeper initials are now reflected in the Fees and Expenses data.
