The following procedure is for testing the format and content of invoices prior to submitting them to a an eBilling vendor or client. This procedure is recommended when you are first setting up eBillingHub at your firm, billing a new client, or implementing a new billing requirement such as a new type of adjustment.

To test an invoice prior to submitting it to a client, follow these steps:
1. Select the client and invoice in the Billing Wizard or Quick Invoice.
2. In the validation step, check the box labeled Hold to prevent the invoice from being automatically submitted by eBillingHub, and review any validation errors generated for the invoice.
3. Click Submit, and then click OK to confirm the submission. (Invoices will be put on hold and not submitted to the eBilling vendor.)
4. View the invoice data on the Active Invoices screen.
