eBilling Setup - System-Wide Requirements

Once the infrastructure requirements are met, the eBilling Coordinator is responsible for completing the following eBilling setup tasks that are necessary to begin billing through eBillingHub. These tasks are covered during the eBillingHub Administrator training, but work on these tasks typically begins before the training session and continues after the training session.

  1. Set up eBilling Vendor Connectivity for the vendors that will be used. For more information, see Configure eBilling Vendor Connectivity.
  2. Create eBillingHub users. For more information, see Manage Users.
  3. Map UTBMS Code Locations. For more information, see Map UTBMS Codes.
  4. Map Timekeeper Titles. For more information, see Map Timekeeper Titles.
  5. Map Matter Arrangement Types. For more information, see Map Matter Arrangement Types.
  6. Map Expense Codes. For more information, see Map Expense Codes.
  7. Set the Billing Wizard options. For more information, see Configure the Billing Wizard.
  8. Client Setups for at least the initial set of clients that will be billed. For more information, see Client Setups.
  9. Test invoices for clients with special billing requirements. For more information, see Invoice Testing Procedure.
